Sun, train tracks boost California construction

The Golden State will be building industrial projects through the end of the year that total nearly $9 billion.

Industrial Info Resources recently reported that it’s tracking $8.75 billion of industrial projects that are planned to kick off in California from August through the end of the year.

Most of the growth is in the industrial manufacturing and power sectors. Industrial projects are attributed largely to California’s high-speed passenger rail project, while the power sector is driven by more than $2 billion in solar-related projects.
