Green flag for six new RaceTrac stores in Volusia County

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Atlanta-based convenience store company RaceTrac Petroleum is putting the pedal down on six new stores on Florida’s east coast.

The Volusia County expansion begins with a soon-to-open store in Daytona Beach on Beville Road by year’s end.

Another RaceTrac is planned for 3030 W. International Speedway Blvd., but ground is not expected to break on that store until next year.

In total, five RaceTrac stores are slated to open between 2016 and 2017 in the Volusia-Flagler area.

That will add to RaceTrac’s current eight locations in Volusia County, and one in Palm Coast.

In the words of company leaders, if you have a warrior’s passion, a humble attitude and are living for fun every day, head here to check out available jobs.

The firm is Georgia’s third largest private company, with sales of $9.1 billion in 2013.
