Columbia Pipeline expanding in Houston

HOUSTON, Texas — Houston-based Columbia Pipeline is expanding both in headcount and in square feet.

Following its July 2015 spinoff from Indiana-based NiSource, Columbia Pipeline Group will add 20,000 square feet to its current 91,000 square feet at 5151 San Felipe St. in Houston. Columbia Pipeline Group companies own and operate about 15,000 miles of strategically located interstate natural gas pipelines, integrated with one of the largest underground storage systems in North America.

Over the past five years, Columbia has more than doubled its employee base in Houston from 102 in 2010 to 270 currently, and plans to continue the growth through 2016.
