Wildcat Oil Tools expanding to new Oklahoma City location, hiring locally
OKLAHOMA CITY – The best time to grow in the energy industry is when commodity prices are down, the founder of Wildcat Oil Tools LLC told the Journal Record
Aron Marquez said his Midland, Texas-based oil-field services company is doubling the size of its Oklahoma City office, moving to a 4-acre property from Baker Hughes at 801 N. Morgan Rd. eThe company’s staff is moving equipment and rearranging the space to fit the company’s needs. The new property is about twice the size of his previous facility at 9636 W. Reno Av
The company opened its Oklahoma City office eight months ago and employs 10 people. There are about 80 people total in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. Wildcat provides well-site consulting services, rents tools and equipment and also brings to the surface tools lost down wells.
Marquez said he plans to hire more Oklahomans soon. “We’re not transferring any employees; we’ll hire local people,” Marquez said. Check for Wildcat Oil Tools jobs here.
